Fellow blogger, Ken Matthews, started a series last year of interesting things he saw while biking (Bike Find 1, Bike Find 2). I'm taking the liberty of extending that series here. Like Ken, I have an old 3-speed bike that I use for toodling around town and running errands, etc.
One of the advantages of biking is that you notice a lot of things that you would otherwise miss if driving or riding transit. Last week I was biking in Falls Church and noticed a yard with some totem-pole-like lawn sculpture--with an added feature on the top (click on photo to enlarge). It made me smile.
