New Bike Shop Coming to Arlington!

There is a new bike shop opening up later this summer in Arlington just a block off the W&OD Trail in the western part of the County, and we couldn't be more excited!

Tri360 (full website launching in the next week or two), will be located at 2121 N. Westmoreland St. near the intersection of Lee Highway, I-66 and the W&OD Trail.

While focusing on the sport of triathlon, they plan to cater to all cyclists, from seasoned athletes to cyclocross racers, but also including new riders and commuters. The shop will feature a full-service bike maintenance and repairs department with mechanics on hand. Based on the the fact that they are located just a stone's throw off a major bike/ped trail means that they are expecting to see plenty of commuter and recreational cyclists. Tri360 will also cater specifically to women with several female-specific lines of clothing and gear.

All three owners are Arlington County residents, and the shop has held focus groups to hear what local riders value in terms of products and services offered.  Tri360 will strive to be community oriented with an emphasis on excepetional customer serivce.  In fact, even before major construction had gotten underway, Tri360 set up one of the few afternoon Bike to Work Day pit stops in the region, giving away cold drinks and cookies, and lots of fun swag. While details are still being worked out, they plan to hold group rides and runs from the shop as well an engaging with the wider community through instructional seminars for cyclists and triathletes.
