September is over and the first 10 days of Capital Bikeshare (CaBi) usage is being tallied. Not all 114 stations are installed yet, but here are some good usage stats:
- 4,171 trips were made,
- About 400 trips/day were made which is about 1 trip/bike/day,
- Each member made an average of 3.25 trips over the 10-day period, and
- Most popular station is in Dupont Circle (20th & Mass. Ave.) with 300 trips.
SmartBike DC was being used about 1 trip/bike/day after 3 years, so to reach this level after 10 days with CaBi is a good thing!

What was the average use for "active" members, i.e. those who used it at least once (taking out those who did not use it at all)?

great numbers! that's my 'home' station, 18th and Hayes. What's the highest traffic station in Arlington?
