Top o'the morning to you and happy St. Patrick's Day! Last night, BikeArlington participated in Clarendon Alliance's annual parade. While the parade is usually a Mardi Gras event, because of all the snow we received in February, it was pushed back to March to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
While we didn't have a traditional float, we did have a "flotilla" of bicycles. Volunteers from Phoenix Bikes and the Arlington Bicycle Advisory Committee came out to ride their bikes and throw candy and beads to the crowds. The real crowd pleaser was local artist Luke Idziak's bike-sculpture of a futuristic cyborg mounted to a bicycle! See pictures below:

BikeArlington's own Chris Eatough pedaled the sculpture along the parade route.
Here we are passing Whitlow's on Wilson.
Parade finished! Thanks for everyone from Phoenix Bikes and to all of the Arlington residents who came out to ride with us.
