Tysons Tomorrow is an organization that is working to make the redevelopment of Tysons as optimal as possible, even citing Arlington's Rosslyn/Ballston corridor as a model for the type of transit-oriented development they believe is needed to remake Tysons Corner most effectively.
Fairfax County released its latest draft plan on January 15, and Tysons Tomorrow is seeking people's viewpoints as well as advocacy regarding the plan.
They have included some stories of commuters who work in Tysons and their experiences, which to me seem pretty severe. Check them out here.
If you have your own story, a viewpoint or just want to follow the redevelopment of Tysons more closely, I recommend checking out their website.

Tysons Tomorrow is a big fraud. It is a PR front for some big landowners that want more density than can be supported by rail, mixed use development and hundreds of millions of dollars of road improvements. Fairfax County studies show that single occupant vehicles will still be the primary mode of transportation in and around Tysons.
This is not Arlington County, where everybody had a seat at the table. The Tysons developers also want to push affordable and workforce housing to the far reaches of Tysons Corner, far from the rail stations.
