The DC Metro area is making huge strides in green mobility options. The simple truth is, you can live a full, heathly and planet-friendly life here without a car. At this workshop, you'll learn how to get along just fine and save a fortune by not owning a car -- or at least cutting way back. Our three expert speakers (see below) will introduce you to what DC has to offer to bicyclists, Arlington County's successful car-free diet program and how Zipcar's car sharing program leaves no excuse to keep that 4,000lb hunk of metal in your drive way. Join us, and bring your questions! Speakers include: Chris Hamilton, Chief, Arlington County Commuter Services; Chris Holben, Transportation Planner, DDOT' Anthony Marinos, Marketing Coordinator, Zipcar.
