Steve, that is fine. However, the amount of information that we are going to try to filter out to people is going to be enormous. We are only looking for travel-related tweets. What we are doing is turning on text alerts for those 50-100 volunteers, so whenever they update their twitter, we'll get a text message. You are more than welcome to help if you'd like or get the text alerts from the volunteers.
I hope that helps.

I can't tell you what Shane and Brandon might do with the information, Steve, but anyone with a Twitter account can technically send them a message through the system. I'm sure if it were valuable information, especially if no other volunteer had sent a similar updates, they would gladly distribute the info back out to followers.
Only the registered volunteers they pick beforehand, however, will get any of the bonuses like the free book.

This is a great idea. I'm following.
Question: if we're not a signed up volunteer and we send a tweet to @carfreejan20 what happens?

This looks great, guys! I'm excited to see what awesome routing ideas will be coming from all the volunteers.
