We’re happy to report that registration for this year’s Bike to Work Day is officially open! Check out the site for this year’s ride, which will be happening on May 16, 2008. It’s free to register, and you’ll want to do it quickly to reserve your free t-shirt!
Get inspired to bring your neighbors and coworkers along this year, as we’re preparing for a record turnout. There’ll be raffles and giveaways, plus prizes for the offices with the most employee participation. (If you’d like a poster for your office’s break room or your cube wall to drum up coworker interest, let me know!)
If this will be your first foray into biking to work, there are some good starting points at Bike Arlington. Check out the maps and other info available at the website, too; there’s lots of useful info there for the first-timer. And don’t feel like you can only start biking to work on May 16 – any day or every day before that can be Bike to Work Day!
