The challenge is to convert the Bicycling Magazine "Bike Town" program into something really practical and focused and system rather than personally oriented.

A lot of it has to do with refamiliarizing people with bicycling, fixing bumps in the environment, and having supportive systems at destinations, from bike racks to showers and lockers for people at work. Etc.

40% bike mode share is amazing! The video speaks volumes for the quality of life boost of all those bikes instead of fume belching vehicles and more lanes of pavement. We should be so enlightened here. At least Arlington is making a serious effort to promote biking.

Great video! Another thing to notice is almost no fat people on the bikes.
