CNN's report on Paris's Velib' bike-sharing program shows the French capital new and improved with over 10,000 bikes helping to meet Parisian residents', workers', and tourists' transport needs. In fact, 60,000 people tried of the new bikes within the first 48 hours of operation last week.
The report states the cost of using a bike is "only 8 cents a day with the annual subscription and 1 euro a day without." The bikes are becoming popular throughout society as businesspeople, students, and shoppers are all using the bikes.
