I once spent a wonderful week driving around Britain hardly ever having to stop at a stoplight or sign, except for pedestrian crossings. I found it easy and safe. And I really enjoyed driving; something I experience much anymore.
In Wednesday's Examiner, Steve Eldridge wrote, "Drivers need better directions for traffic circles in the region".
So, I suggest we go to the experts.
Here's a nice interactive tutorial on How 2 Do Roundabouts (what Brits call traffic circles).
And here's the official scoop from the UK government.
Just remember to do it all in the right directions.
How hard can it be if the Brits can do it backwards?
