Who wouldn't seize an opportunity to wear sneakers to work? This Wednesday, April 25th, also known as Start! Walking At Work Day, is your chance...
Created by the American Heart Association, Start! Walking At Work Day encourages participants to make heart health a top priority. Thousands of Americans nationwide are expected to participate -- and become part of the solution to get America walking.
Adults are spending more time at work than ever before, with little time spent being active. Start! Walking At Work Day was created to remind people to take time from their daily schedules and find time for their heart. According to the American Heart Association, taking just 10 minutes three times a day to walk will help a person live longer, and studies show that just one hour of vigorous exercise will increase life expectancy by two hours.

There are so many reasons why it makes sense to walk more. Why not get started on Wednesday, April 25th?
